This notice is issued by the El Salvador Securities and Cryptocurrency Commission (“ELSCC”) drawing attention to the company Basel Markets (Salvador) Limited and the fact that the entity does not hold a valid license or regulated by the ELSCCin any capacity. The Authority takes note that the company is circulating an ELSCCissued Securities Dealer’s License certificate with license No. 269 and, thus we wish to advise that same is fraudulent.
Furthermore, the ELSCC Salvador urges investors and members of the public to exercise adequate research and evaluation on an entity, service providers, and representatives prior to conducting business and/or performing any transactions involving money exchanges or exchanges of personal details. The ELSCC also reminds the public that the Authority is not responsible should persons continue or maintain client relationship, or uses services provided with or by the aforementioned website.
